Review: Good machine - Love the look and the ceramic coating on the pan. Everything feels sturdy. I was originally disappointed that the initial program that you run (per the directions) for the burn off was beeping, because that is the whole reason I am even replacing my Breadman at all. I couldn’t find a silent mode, and my experience is loud continuous beeping that wakes everyone, at every cycle. I have only done one round, but I slept through it, so it must not be as loud. I am disappointed that there is no off switch- you have to unplug it. In the instructions, FYI, when it references degrees, it is in Celsius. It doesn’t say C or F, but it is clearly C. I haven’t tried any of the recipes because they are so different from what I have used before, but my Breadman white bread recipe went great in this. One more thing, to get the pan out, you have to turn it by the handle (counterclockwise, and just a little) to get it to release. You also have to turn it (clockwise) to put it in. I don’t love this, but it must be some kind of safety feature. Putting it in didn’t cause any issues for my ingredients. The ingredients didn’t settle or mix. I am going to keep this at least for the time being, but I am going to upgrade to a more expensive machine eventually to get a silent mode, more clear function manipulation (not sure how to tell when you have started or stop/paused and some of the display looks like what you would manipulate or set, and it just isn’t clear), and an off switch.

**Q: Has anyone compared this kbs bread machine with other bread machines? is it worth buying?**
A: Before I bought this kbs bread maker, I compared many bread machines, such as Hamilton Beach, Zojirushi, Cuisinart, Oster, but they are either too expensive or outdated appearance and not suitable for my kitchen. In the end, I chose the KBS bread machine. In addition to preparing ingredients, it can really do anything, and it also comes with recipes and recipe tables. Even if it is the first time to make bread, it will be very successful. Once you have tried to make bread 4-5 times, everything will be easy in the future. Then you can relax for 3 hours and let the machine do all the work.

**Q: It is possible to add nuts and fruits during the cycle? planning on baking whole wheat bread with seeds.**
A: The dispenser will add, whatever your ingredients are, automatically near the end of the 2nd kneading cycle. There is also no reason why you can't add ingredients manually at anytime although I don't recommend doing so. I once added walnuts and dates manually (I was making a cinnamon/nut bread) during the 1st kneading cycle which turned out to be a big mistake. The nuts and dates were pulverized into very tiny pieces during both kneading cycles and although the bread tasted and looked fine, the texture of the nuts and dates was lost. Let the machine do the adding and after you hear the clicking sound it makes when it is adding the ingredients, open the lid and make sure they dropped safely on the dough in the pan and none dropped to the machine bottom which will end up causing a mess

**Q: How does the bread machine actually work?**
A: This machine is amazing. I have had several bread machines through the years and this one is by far, the best I have ever had. It comes with a recipe book and my advice is to follow the book. It’s great! Beautiful bread every time!

**Q: What material is the baking pan of this bread maker made of**
A: Pan is made of aluminum coated with a ceramic coating. Not only is the pan non-stick, but also the heat conduction speed is very fast, and the baking is very uniform.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great Bread & Service. A bit noisy.

PROS: This makes very good bread with excellent texture. Overall it is a nice machine and we feel well worth the price. We have had "many" bread makers over many years. The dual heaters on this give a nice even cook and crust. Nice to have a ceramic lined pan and not eating teflon as it wears. Included is a nice hot pad glove, measuring cup and spoon. Very good service. SERVICE: SUPER!!! The one we first received was defective. Had a very loud screeching sound and horrible smell. Seller and KBS customer service responded quickly - several times. After they viewed video they sent a replacement right away. This one is working right. We are happy with it. CONS: Maker is a little on the noisy side while mixing. Not bad, but a little more than others we have used. We ran it through the suggested cleaning twice. It still had a motor or heating smell (lessening each time) that has taken 3 more loaves to almost completely go away. OVERALL: Very pleased. Downgraded it from 5 only because of the "cons" and problem with the first one we got. I think that should have been caught in the factory with a inspection quality control test.
