Great ceiling fan blade cleaner, mist both sides of pads, a couple of swipes over the blades and it removes dust from blades and edges all at once. Long accessory pad and telescoping handle are great for cleaning the base of fan, well as baseboards and other hard to reach surfaces, like spider webs on walls. Good value too! Clean up is a snap too, just run under water and air dry.

Works great to getting the dust off the ceiling fan blades. Also, helps so you don't have to climb so high either.

once you get this, you will kick yourself and ask "why didn't i think of this!" this brilliant little device has taken into consideration the annoyance of having dust flying everywhere when you use a cloth or microfiber tool that DOESN'T cover both sides. this lovely device also takes into consideration that fan blades are not straight so it has an arrow which instructs you on which end to put in first so you don't break the blade. it is also clever in that it allows you to clean baseboards and more when you pop its top off. i gave this a 4 star as we have high ceilings (which i am not fond of as we heat and cool parts of the house we literally don't use plus it make changing fire alarms and cleaning ceiling fans). with that in mind, i found the pole was too short--- seriously too short!!! it would be nice if they included an extra length of pole to allow you to clean the fan without having to take out a ladder.

I really like this tool. I saw it at a hardware store for about 5 dollars more. Glad I checked Amazon. It gets the dust off my fans, cleans baseboards in a jif. I haven't tried it on my blinds yet but I'm confident it will do a great job. I did have one fan that the blades were too big to fit inside, but I used the other tool to get the dust off of it. The telescopic pole is great . As a woman in her 60s its much easier than trying to stand on a bed to clean. Highly recommended.

Makes things easier

I read the reviews and noticed some mentioned that it was not as easy to use as one might hope. They were so right, but I overlooked them and focused on the positive side that you could clean the fan blades without dust getting everywhere. Lovely thought, but I'm not sure how much I'll be using this. I may go back to the fan blade cleaner I got at a hardware store in the past. We don't have oversized blades (they are five and a half inches at their widest), but this was a struggle to get the blades into this cleaner and I ended up wiggling it so much that the top actually unscrewed from the pole and ended up falling onto my head, knocking my glasses off - no damage, but not an ideal thing if it had hit a breakable or one of our cats. I was also a bit concerned I was going to pull the fan off of the ceiling I was having to work it so much. On the plus side, it did clean the blades (I had sprayed a cleaner on the pads, which I think is a necessity), but will I continue using it for our fans? No, probably not. Will go back to the hardware store purchase, which didn't contain the dust as well, but really got the job done with minimal hassle or effort. I will give this a go for baseboards, etc. Also, if your fans are higher, which they are in several of our rooms, it is essential that you get the longer extension pole. The standard one, which is what I got, is very short.

Love love love this easy to use and clean!!!

I have two ceiling fans and hardly ever cleaned them. I’m getting older and just don’t trust myself on a step stool. When I did do it it was a very messy job, dust in my face, eyes. This thing is fantastic! Give it a slight wiggle from side to side as you slip it over the blade. Very little dust fell from the end of the blade. And there was a lot of buildup! I’ve cleaned the tops of my kitchen cabinets with ease using the duster. Shaking the dust off outside was really easy as well. The locks on the side could break if your not careful. I can see masking tape as a workaround if it does. Would hold it on and be relatively easy to remove.
