I have big dumb hands. This thing is great.
So I have big fat hands that have both had carpal tunnel surgery a year ago. My dexterity is fine but skinny little pencils don't do it for me. I use three mechanical pencils: 1. An Uni Kuru Toga, for fine work. The best part of this pencil is that it's metal and somewhat heavy with a great eraser. 2. A Pica-Dry Longlife, which I use for carpentry, the little holster is sweet. 3. This Rite-in-the-Rain 1.3, which I use for everything else. I really really like this pencil, it's generally comfortable , lays down a nice line on about anything (I use it for marking eggs for incubation a lot), and has a nice clip that rides well in a pocket. Replacement leads and erasers are cheap. My dislikes, which I think are unique to me: I wish it had a bigger barrel and was heavier. It doesn't feel flimsy exactly but it's not super ergonomic for big hands. The erasers do a great job erasing but they aren't tight enough in the cup that holds them, I've repeatedly had the pencil in my pocket with the clip and had the eraser come out of the cup. I don't like putting sharp things in chest pockets because I work a lot in the mud, but when I have to I use the Pica-Dry because of the holster. All in all this is a great pickup. It lets me help my kids with homework and write whatever needs written.

Toughest pencil at a good, fair price
If you're on a real tough job site or you are an artist climbing up on the side of the mountain to draw, this is the best pencil for you. It is the toughest I'v found. Listen, it's worth the money if you do the math. A Series of $2 mechanical pencils that brake and need to be replaced once a month costs $24 a year. Worse still, You don't find out that your normal mechanical pencil is broken until you need it In the field. This is a problem that I've actually had. But, After More than a year, my Rite in the Rain pencil is going strong. That means it costs less to own one of these than a dozen mediocre pencils.

Highly recommended even for people who draw!
This has a thicker led than I am used to but I still really like it! The pencil barrel itself is very sturdy and nicely made. It is a metal barrel but it’s not a super heavy pencil. Even with the led being thicker and “heavier” than I am used to for drawing I honestly feel like it draws better than some artist pencils and gives me better control for shading.

Bulletproof notetaking gear
The best thing about this design is that it is a normal mechanical pencil, but with all the upgrades you would hope for. It is ergonomic, allowing for fast writing. It also uses thick 1.3mm lead so it won't break on you, has a generous eraser for mistakes we will inevitably make, and a durable construction to withstand being used by bozos or us grunts. The great thing about using pencils in the field is that lead typically won't smear or wash out like ink will. It also won't become stubborn after a while and wear out like pens will with their ink coagulating at the tip or exploding. This is a terrific investment and it will last a long time before you need to buy more lead.

High Quality, almost perfect for EDC
I love this pencil, in particular the thick lead and the feel in my hand. However, as an everyday work EDC it's not perfect. The eraser falls out somewhat easily. Thats pretty much the only flaw I've experienced though. I'd like a version of this pencil with a screw on cap to contain the eraser. Then, I think it'd be perfect as an EDC but as a pencil that lays around the house or in a clipboard, it's fantastic. Love this company

Durable pencils
These are great work pencils, durable, quality and perfect when you need a pencil instead of a pen when on the job site.

A great tool
This is a great pencil for rough work be it field notes, marking lumber or anything else. It doesn’t smear like pen, writes upside down and works on wet paper. The size makes it work well with gloves too. It’s great and seems it will last a while

Excellent buy
It's excellent. Exactly like I thought it would be and the lead is stronger than I thought it would be (or could be even). Great product for prints on a site or definitely like I use it with a soft lead just for my 8-year-old to throw around and use.

Good pencil, but….
But it is still mostly plastic, and needs a bit of sanding on the grip. Cheaper options are better.

Just an average 5/10 pencil
Guys This is just a plastic pen , it does not feel worth its price, however i have to be honest that it gave me no issues till now, if i would give you an advice , i would say buy steadtler one which much more premium, for half of the price
