I wish i had bought it years ago! However i have not tried a battery chain saw on it BUT it is very sturdy and i can see no reason why it would not work. My only criticism of it is that it is a shame it does not take bigger logs. **Q: Can it be adjusted to suit left handed people?** A: Yes it's quite simple, remove a black cap from the top of the left leg ready to replace in the right leg. Then all you need then is a set of allen keys and spanner to reattach the universal fixing the opposite way around for the chain saw. **Q: What would be the largest diameter of log that you could cut? Thanks** A: Depends somewhat on your chain bar - an electric saw with a narrow bar will give a bit more clearance as will mounting your saw higher in the clamp.
