As expected, this plumper burns within seconds of application, however, it is literally causing your lips to vasodilate due to an allergic reaction (which is obviously the goal here). I was pleased with this purchase given the effectiveness of this product. It didn’t give me an “omg-girl-what-did-you-do-to-your-face-I-didn’t-even-recognize-you” type of look, but the subtle difference I was hoping to achieve. The scent reminds me of some sort of ridiculously sweet cocktail I would have ordered in my 20’s, but isn’t bad. It’s like applying a thick lip gloss -remember those days? After about 10 minutes of letting it sit, I’ve been gently blotting it off prior to applying my lip color. I’ve been very careful not to apply the plumper outside of my vermillion border (lip line) to prevent my skin from reacting. I have very sensitive skin and was nervous that I’d have some sort of true allergic reaction or experience my lips becoming chapped from use of this, but luckily neither issues have been a thing thus far. I’d liken the burning sensation of this product to that of eating spicy salsa then licking your lips or chili oil -honestly, that would give you the exact same result. The first time I tried this stuff on was about 8:30 at night and was up 8 hours later for work and it appeared my lips were still inflamed aka “plump.” The burning sensation lasts for a good half an hour for me before I stop noticing it enough to think about it. My wife noticed my upper lip looked a bit fuller, so that confirmed I got what I paid for. I recently paid $44 for another product that claimed to do the same thing and did not deliver results. If you’re on the fence, go with the travel size of this product. I think it’ll last a good amount of time given the bottle is so full I have to actually apply force to shove the applicator back into the bottle. I personally appreciate when people provide before/after pics as proof, so I included my before, during, and after of use of this product (all 3 pics taken within about 10 min of each other). Plump up the jam, y’all. ✌🏼

I only get too-faced lip plumper I did compare this to the maximum plumper and this is actually more plumping than the maximum. It does keep my lips moisturized like almost everybody talks about and it is for a good price right now the only thing I don’t like is it is not long lasting that’s the only thing I don’t like it is instant, but it is not long lasting. It has no flavor no smell, which is amazing but you do have to apply it after a couple hours again.

I really like this stuff it has helped me get my lips a little bit puffier because I have really thin lips. You can fill it almost immediately that tingling sensation and it adds a little color to my lips to. I will definitely buy it again. I bought it. in the shade “Kiss the Bride,” and I really love the color. It gives my lips a beautiful shiny, hydrated look and feels comfortable to wear. I did feel a moderate tingling sensation, and it plumped my lips a little bit, but I honestly expected a more dramatic plumping effect. Still, the color is gorgeous, and I keep reaching for it because it makes my lips look healthy and glossy.

Burns a lot at first but it does stop. If you are looking for a lip plumper. After trying everything under the sun and spending tons of money. This is THE ONE. The only one that works and continues to work. It really enhances my lip outline. Worth the money.

I have to give it a 5 star, as it actually plumps. Not dramatically (so, "extreme" is an overstatement), but it does plump for a change (tried others with less success!). Interestingly, it inflames my lips slightly and they appear as if I am wearing a reddish lipstick (the gloss itself is clear). One downside - it is very small. Not cost efficient. Update: I downgraded it to 3 stars because the claims that this was longlasting were not confirmed. It lasted total of 20 min. So, won't be recommending it, especially given its size.

It’s good, illuminates my lips, has that slightly bee sting effect. Dries fairly quick and beating effect is short lived. Delivers as written with short term ROI which is why I give it 5 stars. Will not be repurchasing.

As a lip gloss, this was okay, lasted over an hour and it has no color (which I liked). As a plumper, it made very little difference, VERY little. And it kinda burns when you put it on. I’m not going to buy it again. Wasn’t worth it.

I normally love the Too Faced Extreme Lip Plumper line and this works just as great so in terms of plumping, it gets a 5. But the colour? It's barely noticeable. It looks almost entirely clear.

Instant plump. It's non-sticky but pleasantly oily. Great without lipstick, great as a plumping care under lipstick. Pleasant flavor & scent. Quadruple love it
