Works well and I have use these on various different vehicles over the years. well worth the money and work well to save the shock absorber as well. Well worth the buy considering how much shock absorber are to buy and fit

When towing my car was very bouncy when loaded with the kids in the car, so much so my boy was very ill. These things went on within 2 mins each. I first measured the coil gap whilst the car is jacked (make sure you dont compress the springs when jacking, try to find a jacking point on the chassis), in my case it was 36mm gap. When they arrived i boiled the rubber for about 10 mins. I then jack the car up so the springs were slack (wheels also off the road) then used axle stands for safety!!!. I then applied copper slip to both indents so they would go in easy and wouldnt squeak in the future. I then feed them in from one corner - they slid straight in with no problems. Lowered the car back - the car was initially looking like it was sitting high but that as since settled. TOP TIP!!!! These things are just lumps of rubber - i picked up 2 from amazon market place for half the price new. The ones i received were open but unused so it looks like they may have been returned because they are the wrong size. You need to purchase two so this can save a lot if available especially if fulfilled by amazon.

After initially thinking this would contain springs for both sides - which it doesn't and to be fair doesn't say it does either bought another one and fitted to the car. We tow a caravan so needed stiffer rear suspension to help prevent the "undulating" effect of towing something heavy. These are a bit fiddly to fit so my tips: BOIL for 15-20 minutes immediately prior to fitting JACK the wheels of the ground - you don;t need to remove the wheel unless you want more access to the suspension spring WEAR GLOVES GREASE UP the coil and your suspension spring with LOTS of washing up liquid BE PREPARED for some huffin and puffin These will go on with some of the proverbial elbow grease and once they are on the improvement is great - well worth the work

I have found that these spring assisters have worked well on a 2010 Skoda Octavia and a 2009 VW Passat for the purpose of caravan towing. Most pitching of the caravan has been eliminated which has made towing easier and give both cars a firmer ride at the back when the cars are solo. Easy to fit at my local garage...10 mins maximum with the right facilities but do keep the rubber warm.

I was very disappointed to learn from my local garage that these are sold as single items, why would you sell them as single items when you have to put them on in pairs, I have had to order another one and book myself into the garage again.

They were simple to fit on the rear of my 06 Honda CRV, didnt need to put them in boiling water.Just jacked it up on the tow bar and it allowed the axle to hang to the limit of the shock absorbers lathered them in Fairy Liquid and they slipped in very easily after giving the coils a good clean.My hands were very soft too.Doddle.I think the most important thing to do first is accurately measure the coil gap before ordering
