It is held on with 8 tiny staples and has the shape of a boiled lasagna noodle.As mentioned in the other review, I can't imagine a boot, shoe or ballet slipper of any reasonable size fitting in this thing. There are lots of other options available on Amazon, I wish I had ignored this one and looked more closely at the others. ### ⭐ Worthless *by D***K on Reviewed in the United States on December 16, 2017* Don't waste your money.
