I LOVE every season of Once Upon a Time.
I love every season of Once Upon a time. Unfortunately so far only seasons 1-3 Blu-ray have season play so you can stop watching and automatically pick up where you left off later.

Inspires hope in a world where there's not much hope
Has been my favorite show for 5 years now, and still holding into their sixth. I refuse to watch commercial television so I purchase my seasons and watch without commercials. Since I cut the cable cord, there's a freedom to that. This show is the embodiment of hope, it fills our adult need for fairy tales and the hope of happily ever after, while adding new twists to all of our favorite characters we've grown to love. (Writers) Adam and Eddie have an amazing wave of intertweeving the characters and their pasts in a way that bring them together and make their stories more connected than we ever thought possible, the notion that true loves kiss can be not just a prince to princess; but mom to son, owner to pet, or that magic can and does exist in a land without magic. This show keeps me going, keeps me wanting, I haven't been this into a tv show since Full House and the Cosby Show went off the air. It's a show you can watch with your whole family, even the smallest of the family get it.I know all good things must come to an end, but I truly hope to get a few more years out of OUAT and their never ending hope.Oh and if nothing else, Captain Hook is sure to mesmerize, or as the evil queen calls him, captn guyliner. He's just too hot for words. To Adam and Eddie, if you read these reviews, as homage to Disney, you really should do one full musical episode, you know, since most of the Disney tales are musicals n all.

DVDs worked perfectly - Season 6 should have been the end
I'm a fan of OUAT so I really enjoyed binge watching these videos. Season 6 ending was a satisfying ending to the series and I kind of wish they had stopped there.

Five Star Show
OUAT is one of the corniest shows on TV but I have LOVED IT right from the beginning! Love all the characters (from fairy tales I read about as a child as well as the Disney ones.) and the plots and subplots. All the actors are great but I do have my favorites. My best-loved story is the one between Rumpelstiltskin/Gold and Belle. (I am a bit biased as I am a huge fan of Robert Carlyle and Emile de Ravin is perfect in the role of Belle.) I actually got teary-eyed with the scene where Rumpelstiltskin dances with Belle in her dream-world. Lana Parrilla is absolutely superb as the Evil Queen and Colin O'Donoghue (Hook) is definitely the best eye-candy ever. I usually do not read about the personal lives of actors/celebrities but what a wonderful surprise that Ginnifer Goodwin (Snow White) and Josh Dallas (Prince Charming) married three years after the first season premiered. I would consider this show a family one and it's *chasteness* is a welcome respite from all the graphic violence and sex that is all too common in our TV/Cinema culture.

Can't Get Enough!!!
What is there not to love about OUAT?! At the beginning of this year my coworker suggested I watch this show because I love Disney movies and adventure stories. Ten months later and I'm completely HOOKED (a little pun for all you fans)! I love pretty much everything about this show! The acting, the characters, the stories, the suspense and romance; it is all so entertaining! It also is a family friendly show as well. There are some low cut dresses that the characters wear from time to time along with the occasional sensual scene between some of the characters. Even still, it is a clean, family friendly, entertaining show. Also I love that this season they have brought ALADDIN & JASMINE into it so that we can see how their stories unfold as well! It's never boring for our friends from Storybrooke! The writers continue to amaze me as they incorporate all of our favorite Heroes & Villains into the show and intertwine all their stories together in some way! If you're looking for a show to get lost in, and you love fantasy, Once Upon A Time is perfect for you!

MUCH TO ENJOY , BUT OCCASIONAL MISFIRES
The Evil Queen was thought dead. Not a chance! She is back - to rewrite previous happy endings and to sabotage any future possibilities. Even worse is The Black Fairy, complete domination of Storybrooke her aim.As ever, there is still much to enjoy but even dedicated fans may wish for greater focus. Occasionally comes a sense that "anything goes". The show is at its best when concentrating on fairytale characters. Some imports from other works are very awkwardly contrived and do not merit inclusion.Great special effects. (As ever, so many disappearances in puffs of coloured smoke.) Some unexpected developments, characters hitherto villainous showing a nicer side - former bitter enemies now friends. Especially savoured are sly jokes in passing. So easily they could be missed. (The cafe called Aesop's Tables. Aladdin pinching from a car. A less likeable Robin Hood exclaiming, "Give to the poor? Why the hell would I do that?" Such dialogue as "Your wickedness" and "She's messed with the wrong witch!")Yes, great fun, cast clearly enjoying themselves - especially those being villainous. Highlight? How about the song and dance episode (all the actors' own singing too.)Twenty two episodes. Some commentaries. Deleted episodes. A gag reel (mosquitoes a problem!). An interesting feature on that musical. (One feels it will not be the last.)Admittedly there is a suspicion creators are trying to spin out the series as long as possible - certain ventures ill-advised, overall impact diminished. Hopefully they will know best when to call a halt, the inventive show to end on a high. With sundry readjustments it could well have done so this time round.

Fairy Tale Fiction
Once Upon a Time continues to produce good stories both per episode and as arcs. They use their characters in new and surprising ways. This show is well worth a watch to the end.

Fortunately the makers still come up with interesting twists to ...
The speed at which actions happen and storylines are added, have considerably gone up for this season . Fortunately the makers still come up with interesting twists to the stories, though the musical episode wasn't really my thing .
