It is very easy to install and put away. Only minor issues are that the cover than it came with is a faux leather material with absolutely no stretch, it's nearly impossible to put the umbrella back in unless you fold the umbrella very tightly (this requires waaaay too much time and effort). The cover never gets used, which is a shame because I would've enjoyed that. One other thing that bugs me is the button to open the shade is on the bottom of the handle, rather than the top. This means you can't intuitively use your thumb to open it. Instead you have to awkwardly use your index finger. Often times I find myself accidentally opening the shade upside down because I used my thumb.
