## Description

“My research shows we are heading into a major shake-out in business that will determine the leaders for decades to come. This will REQUIRE creative marketing and positioning, and there is no better source than Dan Kennedy on this topic. His book No B.S. Guide to Trust-Based marketing is rich with vital insights.”—Harry S. Dent, Jr., author, The Great Crash Ahead Trust Between Consumers and Businesses is Gone Here's How to Fix It Internationally recognized “millionaire maker,” Dan S. Kennedy, joined by entrepreneur and financial consultant, Matt Zagula, show you how to break down the barriers caused by the “trust no one” mantra invading every customer’s mind today. They deliver an eye-opening look at the core of all business—trust, and teach you the secrets to gaining it, keeping it, and using it to build competitive differentiation, create price elasticity, attract more affluent clients, and inspire referrals. You'll get the essential strategies required to build trust in an understandably untrusting world, and in turn, attract both business and profits. Covers 8 ways to demonstrate trustworthiness to prospective clients The #1 secret desire of today’s untrusting prospects—how to understand it, respond to it, and use it to transform marketing, prospecting, and presentations How to avoid dumb mistakes that scream “salesman” to prospects Why “Where can I find clients?” is the wrong question. The right question is: How can I construct a business persona and life so that clients seek me out, with trust in place in advance? How to keep products, services and prospects away from the avalanche of competitive and confusing information online The incorrect assumption that trust is built by imparting information and knowledge and a breakthrough technique to replace this mistake

Review: WOW!! The absolute BEST book on marketing and prospect psychology I've ever read! - I've got books- lots of them- about copywriting, advertising, and marketing. Many of them are classics, written by such greats as Olgivy, Capels, Sugarman, and, yes, even Dan Kennedy. But, none ever grabbed me by the shirt collars, and shook the hell out of me like this one did. Follow the advice in this book, and no longer will you have to dial for dollars, deal with unreasonable customers, or spend hour, upon unproductive hour, chasing a commission. Instead, They are chasing you. You're setting the standards and calling the shots. Imagine turning down prospects because THEY don't meet your requirements. Get this book, and get a stack of legal pads. STUDY the information in this book as if your future depended on it, because it does. I know I am. Wait! (FACEPALM) What am I saying? Forget what I wrote above. Don't buy this book; it's horrible. Worst advice I ever read. Keep doing what you're doing. Don't change a thing about how you do business.
Review: Back in the saddle - I've been buying Kennedy's books since the mid/late-90's. His early stuff was extraordinary- hard-hitting, practical and to-the-point. Some of Dan's more recent books had been a bit on the weak side, particularly those that featured umpteen co-authors. This one reminds me of the "Classic (not Steely) Dan." He gets straight to the heart of the matter, and if you don't have the trust issue under control, NOTHING else is going to work as well as it should. He expands quite a bit on some of these topics in some of the sales-based offerings on his website, but thankfully, this book felt less like a pitch-fest than some of his others.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Another Kennedy Instant Classic.

Like all of Dan Kennedy's books that I have read, this one delivers the goods. Although Dan had a partner helping write this book, it is still written with Dan's no-nonsense straight talking style. Fans of Kennedy's other books will see his themes continued in this book -- don't B.S. your customers, calculate their lifetime value to your business and treat them accordingly. Earn their trust with super service, honesty, and plain old appreciation (rare these days). An excellent buy if you want to stand out from the competition... and you're willing to work.
