I saw it on the lightning deals, and thought "Hey, I can just try it and if I don't like it, just return it". As you can see, i didn't get to the point where I returned it :). The core of the mouse pad, is made out of aluminium, which has a very premium feel, with this pad. At the edges there is a piece of rubber, to get a nice grip to the surface!. At first, it was really hard/weird to get used to this one, when you have used cloth surface before. A couple of days and I was settled with this pad. The mouse is gliding VERY smooth without much force, which i need on a cloth surface. You have 2 sides on this pad. 1st the black and 'rougher' surface is for people with high sens gamers, the 2nd blue/black smooth surface is for people with low sens gamers which needs a very smooth gliding. Pick the side you want to play with, and you feel the difference. Review: i can easly say this one way better than Vespula - İ got this after using Razer Vespula over 6 years . i can easly say this one way better than Vespula .
