The bolts that actually hold the monitor bracket to the wall bracket are a good size. I've seen brackets with little tiny mounting bolts that seemed questionable as far as strength. This feels very solid. I would definitely buy this again if I needed a sturdy, affordable, semi-flush mount with the basic range of adjustments. I went with this mount for my RV because any of the lockable mounts are way heavier so its adding to the overall weight.
