They work fine. My only niggle with these drawers is that the knobs are prone to coming off because the pre drilled holes are slightly too big. I had to buy washers to keep them on. Otherwise, they're lovely **Q: Is the colour in the picture representative of the actual colour? Doesn't look like pine to me? Need toc heck it goes with my existing furniture.** A: it is not a bad representative it is pine but not the normal yellow golden pine that many are, a solid set of drawers once put together(don,t use power screwdrivers to put together or the screws will over wind)very happy with my purchase **Q: Can anyone tell me how tall they r. Ordered 2, not a great experience with these at all. Firstly, the instruction book uses number and letter labels to aid with building. That would have been very helpful if any of the pieces were labelled, they weren't for us unfortunately so the whole process was a guessing game. Secondly, some of the (supposed to be) pre drilled holes for dowells etc to go into weren't drilled properly and I ridiculously had to finish them myself without the required tools to do this efficiently. Thirdly, the finish of these are terrible, as though the wood hasnt been sealed, and as although they hadn't been sanded. I had to sand down a lot of stabby, prickly bits of wood that would have presented a danger if left. Have attached some photos. Fourth, they are incredibly delicate (potentially due to not being sealed) and part of the wood on one of our units has already snapped off. Fifth, some of our pieces were actually broken slightly, managed to make it work until now but wish I had contacted amazon for help at the time of spotting this stuff rather than trying to make it work. Overall, the only positive is that they're not too unattractive to look at.
