**Q: What is the size of the smallest attachment?**
A: This unit comes with 4 attachments. The smallest being conically shaped. To give you some perspective, without actually attaching this to the heat gun, I can put a Pilot G-207 ballpoint pen into the opening. It enters to the rubber holding area and then stops.

**Q: Will this melt plastic on pill bottles?**
A: With your question needing to be clarified, I assume you mean the pill bottles from the pharmacy or OTC pill bottles. This heat gun if too close will destroy that type of plastic if kept in one spot. To avoid this, one should keep the tool in motion when using on flammable items.
