The mechanical pencils I tried were always cheap, would break in a single day and would leave my writers bump enflamed. These are THE BEST MECHANICAL PENCILS. The .5 and .7 lead were not Hardy enough for me as I push hard when I write so the .9 is great and mimicked the same sturdiness as a wooden pencil. I love the extra erasers they include but still carry along a white eraser as I think the eraser could not withstand my aggressive erasing.
