- 📄 DESCRIPTION: The Magic Mat embossing base is a base made of silicone rubber specially used for cold embossing your finest dies with your Big Shot machine by Sizzix. You should place the embossing base between the cutting bases with the paper on top and the die facing towards it, so that the die is more pronounced, but not cutting. If the shape is not sharp enough, add a couple of sheets of cardstock to give more pressure on the cold embossing.
- 🔎 DETAILS: The silicone base can be used on both sides, rotate and reposition it to extend its life. You can also use it for embossing with stencils. It is made of silicone rubber. The product measures 22.5 x 15.5 x 0.165 cm (8.86“ x 6.10” x 0.06"). How to make the sandwich with your embossing Magic Mat? Place the base platform, the first cutting plate, the embossing Magic Mat, the paper, the metal die and the second cutting plate.

Very small item and not very sturdy. Misshaped easily. Sorry Craftelier but this product falls short compared to other products on the market. I do love the sizzix big shot plus which is what I bought this to go with.
