The first thing I would recommend is to make sure your phone is actually unlocked. I had to bring an old phone to use it in because my current phone is not unlocked. I put it in the phone and turned the phone on once we landed in Bangkok. I had to follow the instructions on the packaging and after a little while (maybe an hour or two), it started working. This was great because the ride-share app (Grab) saved us a lot of money in Thailand and I wouldn't have been able to use it without a mobile phone. The only issue I had was on the second day of using it when we went to Phuket. For some reason, it didn't work the first day we were there but started working on the second day. I am not sure if it was because we went to a different location or what but it started working eventually. In the end, I used a little over 1 GB for this trip so I wasn't even close to going over the amount that it was capable of. I am really glad we got it because it saved us a ton of money both in the cost of using the phone but also the ability to use Grab to get around easier. I would get it again in a heartbeat if I was going back to Southeast Asia.It came with a little tool to push the SIM card holder out as well as some basic instructions. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Worked as expected *by A***R on Reviewed in the United States on January 11, 2024* Inserted SIM card in my Samsung phone as I landed in Seoul and worked perfectly after I rebooted my phone. I used an Android 11 phone that met all of the requirements for the SIM cards. Neither SIM card worked in either country. Other SIM cards purchased locally worked without any issues. I contacted customer support and their attempts to help were very basic and repetitive. I've used SIM cards across many phones and have a lot of experience with how they work. It seems like customer support tried to delay me reporting that the product does not work to Amazon so that it would fall outside of the return window. They also strongly emphasize to not use the SIM card until arriving in the target country which generally makes it very hard to return the product to Amazon.
