You lift the top part, load the channel with staple stacks and the spring mechanism will hold in place. To unjam, you need a slim sharp object to pull out the jammed staples. You also need a bit of force to pull them out. **Q: Does it come with staples?** A: Sorry I’m afraid it does not come with Staples. However suitable 24/6 and 26/6 staples are available at reasonable prices from online sellers. Office one is always missing, this saves some time. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ First try with new Stapler *by J***O on 25 April 2025* Solid bit of kit, good weight to it, not flimsy, that said, it only needs the lightest touch to staple through multiple layers of A4 documents. I had two ten-year-old staplers, and this seems much easier to use than the two that broke the same day. Now I have one stapler that is so easy to press down and a clean, tidy staple each time, so far so good.
