Product Description          Produced in the heart of Spain's Catalan wine regionUnio is an olive oil and wine co-operative in the province of Tarragona, Catalonia. Wine makers since the 1940s, Unio know how to coax the best flavours from each grape variety. The expertise used by Unio to make such wines as Catalonia's famed Priorat is also used to produce outstanding vinegar. Unio use a slow and careful method of wine vinegar production - the Schützenbach method. This gentle cold-acetification process retains the varietal aromas and flavours of the wine. The Moscatel or Muscat grapes used in the vinegar come from Catalan vineyards near Reus, on Spain's Mediterranean coast. The flavour of Moscatel vinegarUnio produces a delightfully floral vinegar with outstanding fruit and richness of flavour. Flavours include blossoms, apricot and honey.Using Moscatel vinegar simple elegant salad dressing with Brindisa North & South Extra Virgin Olive Oil and a little orange blossom honey with prawn stir-fry for a touch of sweet and sour enchance rich gravies, especial good with duck marinate salmon for a few minutes before pan-frying in tomato salsas, and fruit chutneys great on chips!
