A: Yes

**Q: I have an old thermostat with 2 wires (230v). How / can I connect this thermostat? What wire to where?**
A: hi you need at lease 3 core cable negative,240v live and one  switchable

**Q: Will this replace an old analoge rotary thermostat?**
A: Yes it does. Mine is active when the heating is switched by the timer . The display is blank  (no live) until the CH is on. The display also blanks until the switch is touched but display s room temp up down arrows change the set point  . I prefer this to old analogue stat

**Q: or this thermostat works with convensional boiler?**
A: Yes, it should do, but I dint recommend it. Its resolution and accuracy temperature measurement are too rough. Difficult to set the right temperature....

I like the look of it . I have one concern in that the faceplate has an plastic cover which is prone to scratching so I am going to be careful. Also the item I have has a slight bow in the clear plastic faceplate where the touch sensitive pads are below the clear screen. It will not be noticeable once installed . I discovered how it works with my wired Sunvic TLX 2259 mechanical controller . I have tested before install to work out the logic and wiring. L @ N are obvious . I found the switch wire connects to terminal 2 Open . That is my install I suggest you check your own wiring which may be different.

Service was good but due to lack of photos, the back of the thermostat was too deep to fit in the recess of my wall and I had to return it
