My existing thin rubber yoga mat just wasn't comfortable anymore. After having a look at many different options, I thankfully managed to purchase one of the few remaining yoga mats in this series (it seems as though they are having trouble getting supplies of other more popular colours).I have to say that this mat is fantastic. It far exceeded my expectations. You can easily buy thick mats from other brands, but the problem is they slip around. This one stays firmly in place and is super comfortable to use on a hard wood floor. I've had another exercise mat for a while but it's too thin and also constantly curls up in weird ways while on the floor due to the way it's stored and the material used; this one lays out flat perfectly despite being stored via rolling up also and is a million times better in terms of preventing injury / comfort.It's quite a spongy material so I hope it doesn't wear down too quickly or get torn, however for the comfort it provides and the price it's at I wouldn't mind replacing this every now and then one bit (and it may not even need replacing at any point we shall see!)I honestly couldn't recommend this enough, you should have seen the look on my face as I jumped and landed with zero pain - not had that for a while. Total life saver. If you suffer from similar injuries / aches don't even hesitate, buy this mat!
