It's still a lovely chilli sauce and unlike a lot of chilli sauces it has a flavour which I still love. The only difference like a lot of things these days is you get a lot less for your money and it's in a horrible plastic bottle. On a scale where 1 is "tabasco - shake it over scrambled eggs, who cares" and 10 is "one drop will have you in pain for hours"?** A: If you have never taste the delights of Barados, Aunt May is as good a place to start. The sauce consistency is like a quik ketchup in flow. Not watery like Tabasco. You see the chopped ingredients in the autumnal yellow sauce. Heat is about 8 to 9. It has a great aftertaste and comes into it's own on sandwiches - cutters in Barbados. Great with cold meat and cheese. Small amounts only mind. Mix with mayo for an instant steak sauce or for dipping etc. An acquired taste for some. Others like me get hooked. Have fun with it **Q: How many scoville units?** A: You can't really go on the units for a product that has been altered by the addition of different ingredients. In addition to the decent chilli kick, there's a pleasant taste to this so it's not just bringing heat. The wife and I enjoy our spicy foods, and we tend to use this in moderation.
