It's not hi-fi, but it's acceptable enough for background music etc. Moved it onto the machine it was destined for and it was working in a few minutes under Ubuntu Server 20.04 with a standard ALSA install, again, no drivers needed. (Don't worry folks I didn't send it back) Fairly standard stuff really, almost certainly based on a CMI chip which is commonplace and functions well. I tested it with a typical condenser mic and it performed ... as expected. I didn't check the line input as both go into the same ADC. Output is quite acceptable, there's a little bit of noise (hiss) if you listen really hard or push the volume levels but again, nothing the average user would ever hear.
