I am learning Italian now as an adult and was pleased to find there was an Italian version of the book I loved so much. Even as an adult, I love looking at the lovely, fun illustrations, which help in learning vocabulary (and I could still remember where the duck was on each page 30+ years later!). Towards the end of the book there are useful sections explaining the basics of pronunciation and simple grammar. I’m sure the book is just as charming and useful in whichever language it covers. I’d give it 10 stars if I could! Review: Very colourful and making learning fun - I already have the same books in French and German, and they all follow the same theme. Each double page has a colourful picture of The inside of a house A schoolroom A garage A street scene. Etc. And the appropriate vocabulary to match. There are also pages on Feelings Colours Numbers Activities And very clearly presented. The book will not make you fluent or enable you to write full sentences, but it is a very pleasant and enjoyable introduction to the language.
