If i put bromine granules in my newly filled tub, should i add the float and 1 tablet to maintain. I am stuggling with this

Yes - the granules are meant to dissolve quickly so they raise the bromine levels rapidly and the tablet then help to maintain the level by releasing a constant dose. You should be checking the water periodically to check the levels are correct. I personally use the test strips because they are easier. I now use bromine tablets to maintain the 'correct' level and rarely top up with granules. You will have to watch how the water in your tub behaves as the water in the UK varies by region surprisingly significantly.  Enjoy your work - it's worth it to relax in the bubbles

We have a swimspa bought to help a health condition but i have now become allergic to chlorine. Would bromine be better?

Can i use these in a swimming pool?

Indeed so but I gave up on hit tub. Just did not work. Tub easily went cloudy . Back to their chlorine tablets which are great. No problems with water now. Far prefer .

The list of chemicals indicates a chlorine containing chemical in addition to the bromine. From Sap marvel website "Bromine is another chemical commonly used to sanitize spas and one of the causes of hot tub rash. Like chlorine, it can lead to contact dermatitis when bromine levels are too high. Also, some bromine systems and tablets contain chlorine. If so, bromine must be added when the chlorine in the bromine tablets runs low. But when the added bromine tablets combine with the left-over bromine, it can become toxic and cause jacuzzi rash." Further questions about this product indicates it is very potent. I have experienced skin rashes using this which I did not experience using master spa bromine granules and tablets which came with my hot tub. I have now purchased multi chemical indicator strips which test chlorine and bromine levels in addition to pH level.
