It is made of plastic and thin, cheap metal. I have better tripod ball head mounts (from MDW) that are far more sturdy. Also, the hot shoe adapter is oddly shaped and doesn't slide in to my ring light, whereas other hotshoe adapters I own work perfectly fine. Overall, it's useless.
