**Q: Which year is this VW beetle model kit?**
A: I don’t know. In fact a week after I purchased the model I was told it wasn’t available. I do have a 71 super beetle convertible. (Sorry if I’m coming off like a jerk. Just a little bitter. Was looking forward to building model with my son)

Well, if you buy this, i hope you like painting so you can spend some time on it, as whle it's a good replica, it's only 20 parts (10 of those are the wheels hubs/tyers/axles), yes plastic axles, this can be thrown together in a few mins, oh and no chromed plastic included for bumpers/fenders, headlight surounds or wheels as shown on the artwork. Glad i didn't pay full price for it, i'd of been very disapointed.
