And how long is the power cord?** A: I'm not sure if the height matters - but I got the 8ft tree and the cord is very long! Loosely measured, it's approximately 13 feet from the base of the stand to the power adapter. The cord also comes out of the tree about halfway down the trunk, so if you add that as well, it's an additional 32 inches for a total of about 15.5 feet of cord from tree to plug. The plug is a 2-prong. I wasn't able to add photos to this answer, but I updated my review to include cord info and pics to show for the 8ft. Hope that helps! **Q: How many lights?** A: I don't know exactly how many lights, but the trees are very bright and show up nicely at night. I used them to decorate my front yard during the Christmas holidays. I used five sets and "planted" them in grouping around my yard. The base is plastic as well and I think metal might give it more stability, but I have my tree in a corner where it won’t be interfered with so I’m not concerned.
