Which is it?** A: Clean lead attachment than apply activator hold tab on it for awhile until it is holding.don’t plug in cable wire to it for 24 hours. **Q: Just received this kit and adhesive seems watery, is this normal? I thought it would knead into a putty like adhesive.** A: I don't recall that it ever got to a paste-like consistency. The adhesive is sufficiently liquid that it could be mixed up and worked into a consistent color all the while being in the original shipping packet. I was able to get the tab to attach tightly by coating both the tab and the metal grid with the adhesive liquid. **Q: Do I re-glue the tab to the same spot as before, or to a different spot in the contact area?** A: the instructions are with the package, you glue it to a spot where there is conductive material. **Q: where can i buy defroster tab for my car** A: They sell them here on Amazon. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Worked well *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 13 January 2026* Bit pricey, but worked well, follow instructions , clean tabs , and area to be applied, worked within 1 min to bond whilst holding it in place.Left it over night, all working again good product . ### ⭐ Glued, but still doesn't work *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 8 October 2026* Followed the instructions to the letter, makes a really good bond and sets solid but product is not conductive enough despite kneading the adhesive well right until it was used. Now left with an open circuit which I have to try fixing with solder or conductive paint. Not happy given the price ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great product *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 10 July 2026* It worked for us, great product. ## Frequently Bought Together - Permatex 21351 Electrically Conductive Rear Window Defogger Tab Adhesive - 2 Pcs Rear Window Defroster Replacement Tab,Compatible with Ford, Chrysler, Chevrolet - Permatex 09117 Complete Rear Window Defogger Repair Kit, Single Unit (Packaging may vary) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.co.uk/products/50174137-21351-rear-window-defogger-electrical-conductive-tab-adhesive-complete-kit](https://www.desertcart.co.uk/products/50174137-21351-rear-window-defogger-electrical-conductive-tab-adhesive-complete-kit) --- *Product available on Desertcart United Kingdom* *Store origin: GB* *Last updated: 2026-10-28*
