Review: Solved the problem. - Rejuvenated an old tv and reasonable price to make it worthwhile. Simple to install.
Review: Works for me - This recorder works quite well for me, and better than I expected for the price. Some have said that it will not record HD channels, but this one does, and plays back successfully. I found that an external hard disk was not reliable and had problems with a 64gb USB stick, so am using a 32gb USB stick formatted as NTFS. A super-fast USB stick makes no difference as this only uses USB 2 anyway.

**Q: Will it work from a satalite dish**
A: No it won't, it's Freeview not Freesat - it works off a TV antenna NOT a satelite dish

**Q: What’s the best size usb stick for recording from this unit please.**
A: I don’t use a stick I record onto a hard drive recorder.

**Q: Can you watch a program and record a program at the same time?**
A: if you are using the set top box as your only form of free view you can only watch the program that is being recorded, but by routing the ariel thro the set top box into a tv with it's own free view. you can record and watch other programs at same time.

**Q: Are the recordings in mp4, good quality  pictures? can you watch one channel and record another? thanks**

This recorder works quite well for me, and better than I expected for the price. Some have said that it will not record HD channels, but this one does, and plays back successfully.
