5 stars! This is exactly what I was looking for my "home gym" set-up.
I've been actively researching home gyms for close to 6 months now. I got the Apollo Board because it has the features I was looking for a good price - not to mention that their app comes included with the board and that i do not have to pay a fee or monthly subscription to use it! Huge perk. The device feels very solid and well built. I like how compact the unit is and I'm pretty surprised at how many versatile workouts I can actually get with such a sleek device. I have a full home gym and the weights/ bars/ and equipment tend to take up a lot of space. Not to mention, that I no longer feel safe leaving weights around now that I have a toddler. The board lets me train the way I need to in order to keep my size up but is safe and tidy. The resistance is very smooth. Feels different from traditional weights because there's no momentum. This has really increased my performance because I am no longer reliant on using momentum or body swings to get my weight into place. The app is free. NO subscription required. TOns of different exercises are available by themselves or categorized into different workout groups. It can keep track of your workout metrics. I'm looking forward to using some of their live classes. The machine really makes you focus on your movement and form which for me is great - quality over quantity. It forces me to perform my best with each set which I’ve noticied only maximizes my gains. It is also worth noting that the machine I got had a software update, which suggests improvements/additions could be made on the software side in the future. I’ve spoken to other users and they update the software regularly for both workouts (content etc) and general performance. I will be looking into their bench when it becomes available later this month. So far, I'm loving it. It' s NOT a resistance band system. I’m very happy with this purchase. It’s high quality and beats the other competitors I was looking at in terms of offerings, technology, size, and customer service - A+

Component to my home gym
I am building out my home gym. I have free weights and a cable machine. I was interested in the digital weight craze i was seeing building in the marketplace. So, first off, I have to say I think there is something to it. I like to mix my resistance training up with different things. For example, I do Les Mills, my own workouts, Caroline Girvan. I like this addition to my gym. I like it so much that I also purchased the Mini Squatz gym. The mini Squatz comes with a bluetooth ring that allows you to turn on and off the resistance. I find this valuable as I usually lift on my own so in case I get into trouble I just turn the resistance off! The current machine I am reviewing doesn't have this feature. I found a work-around by putting one of the silicone sticky bumpers that use you on kitchen cabinets on the resistance dial. By doing this I can easily tap the dial with my foot to turn on and off the resistance. Not perfect, but workable. So, I give it 4 stars for two reasons: 1) not having the Bluetooth ring to turn on and off the resistance, and 2) is limited in the resistance (100 lbs).I don't use the app. Instead I follow my own workout plan and record it on Apple Health.

Sturdy set
This is a great entry level rack. It’s been great for being able to workout at home. It can withstand a large amount of force and weight. I have enjoyed being able to work out in the privacy of my own home. It is a solid rack. Assembly was also extremely easy. My husband and I put it together within an hour. It can certainly be done by one person alone, but for ease and quickness I recommend two. Detailed instructions are provided. The pieces go together seamlessly - sturdy and strong.

Great customer service!
For the first month I had this, I loved everything about it. Great resistance, super versatile, compact, works without a monthly subscription…it was perfect. And then while using it, the resistance suddenly quit, and some kind of error message is on the display. I’ve contacted Squatz to see if this can be fixed, but no word from them yet, which is understandable on a weekend. I’ll update the review to include their response and resolution. Until then, you might want to hold off purchasing. The price is incredibly attractive now, but only if it functions. UPDATE: The company responded quickly with a prepaid shipping label and offered a free replacement. Before sending the Pluto back, I plugged it in again, and it now works fine. Not sure if it reset itself after a period of time, but everything is fine now, and I’ve had no further problems. The company followed up with a few emails to see if I still needed to return, which was great. I can confidently say that these guys will stand behind their product. I’m thoroughly impressed.

Good Rack but parts (nuts, bolts, washers, etc.) missing in original box
The original box came with no parts at all. It took approximately two weeks (10 emails and 3 phone calls) before the situation was resolved and the rack could be built. The rack took two people approximately 90 minutes to build. (Yes, we argued a little) The product is solid and a good addition to my home gym.

Expensive and not worth it.
