Track style WILL Not work on the rod and Vice versa. **Q: Do you need a hub if you use Homekit? If so, why?** A: You do need one of the various Aqara hubs to connect all your devices to. The hub is necessary because it is the parent device that all the child devices connect to and Homekit communicates with the hub not directly to each individual device. **Q: I have a 1 inch circular rod and it doesn’t lock on the thinner part. Is there a fix to this?** A: The rod should have a radius of 25mm to 32mm. If you decide to go with the 25mm then and that should be even entirely.
