Review: Perfect heated mug - Received product. Did not know needed Uk adapter for plug-should be in description. Otherwise would give 5 stars. However mug is fantastic. I set it on ‘hot’- lasts hours with cover on. Love this product.
Review: Best of a BAD Lot - Best of a bad lot re heating mugs. get hotter than most others but still not hot enough. a little fiddly to increase temp. tends to default to a different heat setting when it is turned on again - and it switches off spontaneously quite often hence this is a problem. keeps drink hot for about 45mins after a couple of uses i.e battery capacity degrades quite quickly, unsurprisingly given the amperes it has to deliver (pretty sure this will be the case with most heated mugs). very good looking and great design and a bit larger capacity than most. cleans easily. If you really want a heating mug then this a is a good one to buy, but beware they all fall short of expectations - I no longer use mine. I have marked it down because for what you pay it is disappointing - but then they all are - my advice = dont pay for any of these until someone makes one that is good looking and heats to a higher temp and lasts - I guess it will take a few years for that to happen...

**Q: Since the battery cannot be changed out, only charged, how long does the battery last before mug needs to be replaced entirely?**
A: FROM THE SELLER: Thank you for your question. The Nextmug battery is rated to be fully charged 1,000 times, after which it maintains 80% effectiveness... meaning it can be charged but may not hold the charge as long as before. You'll be able to enjoy your Nextmug for years to come.

**Q: How long does the mug keep your beverage hot when not on the coaster?**
A: FROM THE SELLER - Thank you for the question.  Depending on how hot the liquid is when you pour it into the mug, the Nextmug keeps your beverage hot for about 2.5 hours (with the lid on) and about 1.5 hours (lid off) when it's not on the Docking Coaster and set to the "Warm" setting.

**Q: What's the inside coating made of? Does it have PFAS/PFOA/BPA?**
A: FROM THE SELLER: Thank you for your question. The Nextmug is made of stainless steel and has a ceramic coating on the outside. The ceramic coating covers the inside of the mug as well as the exterior surface and the handle. The main portion of the mug does not contain plastic. The bottom of the mug (only the portion around the battery) has a plastic exterior.
Both the Nextmug and the lids are BPA-free.

**Q: How many fluid ounces fit inside the cup with the lid on?  I have a competitor's 14 oz mug that holds about 10 oz.**
A: FROM THE SELLER - Thank you for the question.  When using the Spill-Resistant Lid, Nextmug holds 12 fluid ounces.

Seems to work well, although reliability not known yet – others have reported poor battery life. One negative is that although it comes with a universal (i.e. 110/240 v AC) charger, it has a US plug, so you will need an adaptor.
