No instructions as yo how to set it up- concertina style but once you've done itnonce it's very easy ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ easy to assemble and carry but sturdy *by A***T on 2 August 2015* easy to assemble and carry but sturdy..very happy with the purchase, good price and just what I was looking for ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Shame about the broken part.... *by C***A on 15 August 2009* I bought the Kampa Major Field Kitchen stand for our first "proper" camping holiday this August and felt we needed to be a bit more kitted out. Its a good size for us, we looked at some larger ones that had extending side tables and lamp stands etc but settled for the Major as we were expecting rain on our break (which we indeed had plenty of!) and were expecting to have to use it in the front porch of the tent, so it needed to fit. This proved to be good thinking as it fit really well (although we had to track the item down on someone elses web site to find the dimensions to make sure our cooker fitted - this lack of info seems a common problem on amazon) and a larger table would have been too much. Its really easy to put up - it just concertinas up so no fiddling or adjusting at all. It is really sturdy when up but due to having no adjustment you have to get creative with a bit of cardboard under the legs if your tents on a hill! It also packs away nice and flat and has a little carry bag. The only major issue we had with it which was annoying and knocked a star clean off is that on lifting the bag with table in it out of the packing box for the first time I heard something fall to the bottom of the bag and it was one of the four hooks that are attached to each of the legs and the shelf fits onto. On the box the picture shows what looks like a metal hook, but ours are plastic and this had broken clean off before even having taken it out of the bag!!! I think this could be a cheap downgrade perhaps to make the item cheaper to produce but it obviously isnt a good decision as the plastic hooks are really weak. We decided not to bother with the faff contacting the vendor and tried to fix it ourselves with lashings of epoxy resin - this plastic must be the only thing that araldite doesnt take to and it was a failure!! But you can actually rest the shelf on the crossed legs so we have made it work.
