I think it turned out well... ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Better than the others *by P***A on May 7, 2018* I ordered another lock box (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01LXQZYKG/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o06_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1) before this one and had to return it. The box came preset with a random code, and could not be opened. When I looked for another, I found that most of the available lock boxes were of the same design. I was concerned that this would mean they came from the same manufacturer and be likely to have the same problem. Then I found this one.This lock box is slightly smaller, which to me is an advantage. It snugs up well against the porch railing and post, which mean that it is not easy to spot, yet is still easy to reach. The rubber cover that comes with this lock box completely envelopes the box, which means that it will be less subject to the elements. The button that opens this box is large compared to other units, and appears to be less likely to fail. The reason I knocked the review down to four stars rather than five is because the box came without instructions for setting a new code. It was easy enough to figure out. However, the seller never answered my query for instructions. This does not bode well if one actually needs to talk to the seller. Even considering that, I would definitely recommend this lock box.As an aside, for anyone concerned that the keys will fall out once the box is opened, I suggest screwing one of the screws not all the way in and then hanging the keys (on a thin key ring such as the kind that come with the keys for new lock sets) off the protruding screw. However, I find that if one is careful, the keys falling out is not a problem. ### ⭐ READ BEFORE BEING SUCKERED *by K***L on August 31, 2018* Bought this, set the combination, hung it, used it once and now it won’t reopen! Mind you this thing is screwed to a deck post and the only way to remove it is by opening the lock. However the damn thing won’t open using the set code. Horrible item.
