They're lightweight and, since they're LED, I expect that the three AA batteries will last the entire Summer. The lights are bright enough to provide some nice ambient lighting but don't provide enough light that you could easily read a book under them at night.I give this a four-star rating instead of five only because o f the remote. It is a bit flaky and I found myself having to press some of the buttons multiple times before the lights would change.But since I wasn't looking for lights with a remote and the button on the battery pack is easily accessible, the remote issue is nothing more than a very minor inconvenience (I should note that I bought two strands of these and found the remotes from both packages to be lacking).I would definitely buy these again. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Great for patio! *by K*** on Reviewed in the United States on October 8, 2020* I placed these lights on my fence along my backyard patio! Hopefully, they last with just a battery change. I'm sure that time will come. Added Halloween lights to it, and once Christmas comes will exchange those for some green and or red lights.
