(there is one hole on the makita base where it will fit through and not obstruct the guide bush) the trend unibase would work but i had one once and the brass screw females fell out so would not buy another as they are a poor quailty product. **Q: Can I cut letterbox hole with this** A: Thank you for your enquiry. The Trend Varijig can be used to successfully rout out letterbox holes of various sizes. Always make sure the jig is well clamped to the work surface, and maybe use some battens on the outside of the jig for extra stability when routing. Thank you** A: Hi, you would need the plunge base these sometimes have two 6mm tapped holes 115 mm apart, if your plunge base has this then you will be able to utilise the anti tilt block.
