We hung up pictures from birth to present of her and the groom. It made it look really classy. It has a remote so you can makenthe lights blink at different speeds or just leave the lights on solid. The battery pack hangs off one end and the other end doesn't have any 'end' just the last clip. You cant use adhesive on the backs of the clips because its a minutely small plastic circle that isn't big enough to adhere to anything. I used mini command hooks on both ends and hid them behind picture frames but it was a process to get it looking good.
