Kangol Tropic Ventair Spacecap Baseball Cap

This is a great hat that "breathes" and allows air to circulate around your head. It is very comfortable. and looks good. I normally wear an x-large in a Kangol, of which I've had many, but many reviews said that this hat runs small. My experience is that this hat runs true to size. That is, if you normally wear an x-large in other Kangol hats, then you will also want an x-large in this Kangol space cap style. If you wear hats made by other manufacturers, then you may need to try on a Kangol hat to find your Kangol size. Once you know your Kangol size, it won't change in any radical way from style to style as long as you stay with the Kangol line of hats. No one compensated me for this review in any way, but I'm tired of reviewers comparing Kangol with other brands and expecting the sizes to be the same from brand to brand, or acquiring new hair styles and blaming the hats for not fitting "according to size". Compare a Kangol hat with another Kangol hat and you'll see and feel that the sizing is more or less the same even in Kangol hats purchased years apart, as in my case.

Great hat. Perfect, comfy, solid. Nothing wrong w quality. But size down. Not as tight as some flex-fit hats. The elastic doesn’t constrict and give you a headache like some caps do. I wear a 7 3/4 fitted and the XXL was too big. Loose. Haaa! Never had that happen before! Great hat! But if you’re used to hats pinching your head, the typical one size fits most SMS and L/XL’s, feel free to trust these sizes. XL is probably OK all the way to 8… imo. Anything less go w XL. Can’t comment below XL though. Sorry! Imagine it would be the same story…

Out of frustration with overpriced "one-size-fits-all" baseball hats, I ordered one of these in XXL. To make a long story short, I will never go back to cheap adjustable baseball hats. The fit is great, and it looks good. My only complaint is that this hat comes in some pretty bizarre colors, some of which I wouldn't personally wear in public. My favorite colors among those presently offered by Kangol are black, navy blue, and possibly white (in summer). I would like to see this hat available with more mainstream color options.

Love the cap but a large is too small and an extra large is too big, besides that I love the cap.

Nice fit & lasting material

I have several Kangol hats including a couple of their traditional baseball caps and the Kangol Tropic 504. I saw this baseball style cap with the same material and texture of the Tropic 504 and ordered a XL/XXL in it. I wear a Xl/XXL in all flex style fitted caps and some of those are even small on me. In regular hat size, I wear a 7 3/4. This Tropic Ventair Space Cap, lacking any structure, is a major problem if you're bald like me. The top/crown dented down onto my head. I tried it on and put it back in the box to send back. The picture shows some structure to it, but there is zero structure. It will lay flat on your head if you are bald. I really like the hat and the Tropic Ventair material, but unless they add some structure to it, it's not good for bald guys. Also, the size was a little big on me. The temples, where most hats are snug on me, had a good 1/4" or more of space between the hat and my face.

Stylish, comfortable and cool. Easy to clean. Quality construction. Great summer cap for golfing, camping, or just wearing out and about!

This is my third purchase from Kangol. The first two hats were in perfect condition. This hat was sent in spite of the fact that a silver threaded imperfection is woven across the very top of this otherwise totally black hat. It is very visible and not wearable. To top it off, to return it, I was given no option to send it to Amazon for a credit to my original means of purchase, even though it is the same account I use to purchase everything else on Amazon for the credit to be handled from the manufacturer instead of for a credit back to my Amazon credit balance. I'm 70 years old and this means a special trip to a post office some distance away- practically impossible. This PRIME MEMBER is highly disappointed, annoyed and very unsatisfied. .

Purchased this cap as I’m a daily cap wearer and fan of Kangol caps.. I have only worn it a couple of time due to the internal lining being loose and folding down any time you move the cap.. All my other 100+ caps don’t do this as it’s either fixed in place or a more solid material. Supper disappointed…

I have a huge head and cant wear normal caps - this one fitted perfectly. I live I the tropics and it is comfortable and not too sweaty in the heat and humidity.
