## Description

This 640x480 pixel microscope digital camera has a unique design that includes a USB cable and two adapters. The digital camera captures still images, streams live videos on your computers using software that is compatible with Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8, and 10. The user-friendly software offers advanced features including Stitching, EDF (Extended Depth of Focus), and video recording. Live video and still image capture can be set in different resolutions simultaneously. You can edit and process images in a manner similar to PhotoShop. The software allows you to make notes, shapes, and watermarks with ease. You can analyze, present, and share images of samples and specimens using the software. With its easy setup, all you would need to do is slide the camera into your ocular tube on the microscope and plug the USB cord from the camera to the USB2.0 port on your computer. With two adapters, our camera can be attached to any instrument with a 23mm, 30mm or 30.5mm photo port. The camera is equipped with a CMOS color sensor with an instruction manual within the software. Within the package you will find the camera, a high-speed USB 2.0 cord, and two adapters.

Review: Good simple scope capture - Maybe I didn't read all the instructions right, I cant seem to adjust any colour or brightness/contrast sliders. I use a red dye to highlight what I search for, while the scope offers some nice images it auto adjusts everything to black and white and mild greens. It wont stay autofocused for very long and I can only get 640x480 images - no hi res. Again maybe I am just dumb and cant read the manual properly, but this is my first impression. All that said for $100 delivered to AU it does the job and allows capture of the wee small stuff on film or video, nice for simple field work.

Anyone that uses a microscope a lot will appreciate this little device. It allows me to look at things on a 22" screen rather than looking through an eyepiece. Less strain on the eyes and with this I can take photos of what I see in the scope. Great little device and with the lens extensions that make the field of view narrower but higher magnification is an added benefit. I now could not do without it.

Although one might come to expect quality with every electronic component purchased, we all know that its impossible. Thus when buying this, I had low expectations. What a wonderful surprise I was in for. To begin with, I bought this for convenience and to be able to snap pics on my computer. The package arrived and everything was secure and well packed. Although I never used anything like this before, everything was rather intuitive. Good thing, as the instructions left much to be desired. I am still trying to figure out how to use the program. After a couple of hours, I was able to do more than I thought I could with it. Overall, I am amazed with the product. Confining my hobby to brewing, so far all I use this for is to court cells. It does a great job day after day.
