I don't own another diffuser so I cannot provide a side-by-side comparison with any of the cheaper lookalikes. As others have mentioned, it is a tight fit but I have had no problems fitting or removing it. I wouldn't really like to have it looser in case it fell off, or any tighter as it would be almost impossible to put it on, so in reality it's the perfect fit.
