He is a fire fighter that loves ALL things outdoors so I was looking for something a little rustic but not TOO woodsy keeping his fiancé in mind too and these fit the bill! They are just a shade off white but still look perfect with the white & black buffalo plaid table runner I am using. I used the white with the smaller silver bands for my daughter’s wedding several years ago and I actually had guests stacking them up to be washed they are so sturdy and nice looking and these are the same. These are not a bright gold, more of an antiqued gold with some bright gold highlights so that is why the gold plastic flatware and gold rimmed glassware still works with them. You can’t go wrong with these, for the price or style.
