Asking for my wife!!** A: No, you won't get any mess from this product. Once it goes on to your hair it fixes quickly and will only come out with shampooing. And your wife will only get it on her fingers if she touches it - after which she can brush or rinse it off. It won't cause any staining, and it won't run if she gets her hair wet. For my part, I use this product to tide me over between hair appointments. I use it to touch up the grey gap in my parting, and it works brilliantly for that, easily tiding me over one or two weeks, and genuinely no one would guess it was a touch up job. It is the easiest product to use. I ordered platinum to cover my dark roots and the label on the box said platinum/blonde so not sure if one product counts as two colours as they also had a blonde option. It was a powdery yellow colour and nowhere near platinum. Coverage was useless, a cheap eyeshadow would do the same.
