Great family laughs
Some people seem to take kids movies a little too seriously. I take them for what they are, KIDS MOVIES!! They're not supposed to be about complicated plotlines and realistic action sequences. They're supposed to be entertaining, uncomplicated fun. This one fits the bill. It's Jim Carey being Jim Carey and its penguins in unusual and hilarious scenes. Often funny, often obvious, often cheesy. PERFECT! lol :)

Movie for all
Great film for kids. Not bad for adults too

Better than expected
Not going to go into much detail here, don't want to spoil it for anyone. Saw this movie on the off chance round a mates house and thought it was great. Comparing my views of this to what some reviewers have given it, to be honest this movie did surprise me. Ok Jim isn't as "rubber-faced" as previous movies, the humour isn't on the same level as previous movies. But you can see why it suits Jim really. It is a most excellent movie, one to watch i think.

Delightful film !
Despite most critics giving Mr. Popper's Penguins a negative review I bought this anyways and thouroghly enjoyed this. I am not a big Jim Carey fan other than his works in In Living Color and Truman Show, but I thought he was great in this role. What amazed me is the fact live penguins were used much more than I thought ( in leiu of CGI penguins ) in the production of this film. It's not heavy slap stick comedy at all. I consider this a nice family oriented drama with awesome special effects. Movie running time is 94 minutes and this boxed set comes with the cute plush penguin. 5 stars
