I have used Liqui Moly, Wynn's oil treatment also and both are very good. I was advised to also use this product and so I did. Now, this stuff is like treacle and so I would only recommend blending a very small amount with your engine oil. I didn't want to use the whole bottle and believe that only a very small amount is needed to simply thicken your engine oil. I mixed a small amount 1/10th of a litre bottle with 5w40 oil, then mixed them together and poured it into my engine. I made sure that my engine was nice and hot and as I poured it into the car, I let the car idle for 10-15 mins just to help it circulate. So far no major problems and another tips is to take your car out on the motorway and give it a good run also, enabling the oil to get very hot and coat all the engine oil pathways. So far, the idle has become much quieter and I have not had any fault codes. The secret is that less is more and ensure that it's mixed with oil first to make sure that it hasn't become too thick before adding it to your car engine.
