The fluid lifts the ink from the stamp very quickly and effectively. In time the felty pad will become inky, but this does not appear to make the stamp cleaner any less effective. My acrylic stamp blocks were very ‘gunged up’, so I did not expect this cleaner to be able to lift all of the ink off - but the result was perfection. I used to spend ages trying to clean my stamps after use, whereas now they are clean in seconds.
