**Q: Does anyone have experience of using this in open water?**
A: No but using it in swimming pool it wasn't accurate

**Q: Open water distance measurement: does this watch give distance when swimming for 1-2 hours in the sea? Also does it give average speed & stroke number**
A: Only used in a swimming pool but very accurate in there

**Q: how does it work in a swimspa using a tether?**
A: There’s an option to set the watch up for open water, which maybe able to record for a spa/endless pool etc... I’ve never used this so it may work but also may not!

**Q: hiw can I send back watch**
A: Why not..amazon great returns

I wanted something simple to count my swimming lengths e.t.c. This watch is simple to use very accurate & does exactly what I want it to. I’d been using a well known smart watch before this & found it not fit for purpose, kept pausing for no reason whilst swimming & it was hit & miss if it was going to work or not which is obviously not good, it’s only got one job to do for me & it wasn’t doing it reliably. No such problem with this watch it’s great & does everything I want it to. Very happy with it & highly recommend if you want an easy to use & accurate tool to track your swims.

Battery only lasted 10 months. Took to a reputable watch repair shop to change the battery as instructed. Watch has not worked since. Don't waste your money !!

Generally a great watch, counts laps fairly accurately, good display, not too bulky, but unfortunately this is my third one already, each one just lasting a bit over a year. Each time after about a year, there was water getting in, at first just bit of condensation, then big bubbles. Warranty is only 12 months (I think I know why now!)
