if its 7mm doesn't thaat mean its to small for the ps4???? or is 9.5 mm the max sort of thing???

Is it suitable for the PS4

The PS4 will take the 500GB, 1TB or the 2TB drive as they are all 7mm drives. The 3TB, 4TB and 5TB are too thick to go internally as they are 15mm.

Will the 4gb version work as a PS4 replacement?

Looks like the 4TB version (think you mean that) is 15mm thick and the size limit on the PS4 is 9.5mm so the answer would be no.
