Calypso Once a Day Sun Protection SPF 50

Stick it on, lasts all day and works well

I've used the calypso SPF 30 and 50 and both seem really good, I was out all day and applied first thing in the morning and again after lunch because it was a long day in the sun, I didn't burn with the SPF 30 at 20 degree full sun all day. I've now tried the SPF 50 just because of the extra protection and aren't bothered for a tan but there's a big difference between them, the SPF30 is much thinner and feels like alcohol gel and doesn't feel sticky at all which is great but the SPF 50 however is much thicker and leaves my skin sticky like some other sun creams which I hate so I might try the SPF 40 next time and see what happens. This WILL stain clothes so don't wear white and let it soak in for a while before getting dressed, it does say this in the instructions along with its only water resistant for two 20 minute swims so don't think you can swim all day with one application

This is an effective SPF - I am pale and burn however wore this in Italy during a heatwave and was absolutely fine! I have knocked it down a star however as all my white clothes are now stained with yellow!! So I probably wont buy this again.

We tried this product having used a more expensive one before. I was very impressed as protected us in the Egyptian sun for 8 hrs with neither of us burning. It also seemed very water resistant as we were dipping in and out of the sea. It’s easy to apply which I did in my hotel room before going to breakfast. Goes on easily, does smell a bit but soon fades and absorbs really easily. I recommend smoothing it on skin rather than trying to rub it in. I will definitely be buying it for our next holiday as such value for money

So this stuff is greasy and sticky. Even 'dried' its tacky. That said, any sunscreen claiming not to be is probably lying or doesn't work. Put it on in the morning so i could wash my hands after, its thick like honey and you want to spread it out quickly as it does dry on quite rapidly. Spent the whole day walking around in the sun on a hot June day and didn't burn so it does the job. Still hate wearing sunscreen but this is the least upsetting one i've found.

Do not buy this rubbish. It's bright yellow and has stained every top I've worn. I've left it on or to soak in for ages before getting dressed as well and it made zero difference. Missively regret buying!!

It’s a weird texture and smells like hand sanitizer. Only really good for half a day in the sun not the whole day

This product is amazing whatever the SPF. It’s not greasy and does not stain clothing unlike the leading brand Riemann P20.

Don't buy Asian skin it's not good

Leider hat mir die Sonnenschutz Lotion sehr stark in den Augen gebrannt, abgesehen davon habe ich sie als angenehm auf der Haut empfunden.
