This set are colourful and have stickers to match, other activities to go and do, colouring and some letter writing which is just enough but not too much, a great set to start young children on, my son started these age 3 1/2 and they were just the right level, we did the alphabet sounds to start and he has just turned 4 and we are now moving onto the other sounds. He has picked up the sounds well and can blend the short words, these are at the back of the book and are a useful check of how things are going. I’ve recently purchased the Phonics Teacher Book and the Pupil Books 1-3 to improve my understanding further (I’m a secondary school teacher) and help the boy along under such strange times.
